CASE OF ECZEMA IN 1-YEAR-OLD CHILD

A 1-year-old non-verbal child from the USA presented with eczema on the back, thighs and hands, with redness and eruptions that would flare up.

As the child was non-verbal, we used a non-verbal child-centric case-taking module to understand the child through:

• Pure observation of the child
• Parent’s observations
• Mother’s history during pregnancy
• Examination findings
• And traits that run across 2 or more than 2 areas

In the child, parent’s observations and the mother’s pregnancy history, fear and fright emerged as a common and recurring trait.

The skin symptoms also aggravated with fear and fright.

Based on this understanding, a tailor-made homeopathic remedy was prescribed, covering both the child’s tailor-made design and the illness.

Gradually, the eczema completely resolved, along with improvement in the child’s craving for spicy foods and behaviour.
